An American Airlines flight out of Newark and bound for Dallas was diverted to Pittsburgh International on Wednesday after a reported bomb threat. According to the FBI, a flight attendant saw a message written in pink pen on a bathroom door reading “there’s a bomb on board.” The plane was searched upon landing in Pittsburgh and no explosive device was found. The FBI says they interviewed the last two people who had used the bathroom in question and that those individuals were searched for a pink pen which was not located. The bureau says it is unknown how long the message had been on the bathroom door.
