SEPTEMBER 1 – Greg Majewsky (Roadkill): Roadkill founder, bassist and singer Greg Majewsky returns to infest the studio! Celebrating 35 years of “Rot and Roll,” Roadkill releases a new compilation album, “Wreck Collection,” in September, and Greg will give us the lowdown on the new set, as well as the group’s upcoming “Rot-Fest” charity event!
SEPTEMBER 8 – Eric Dash (Another World Music Festival): We’ll speak via phone with Eric Dash, the organizer of the second annual “Another World Music Festival,” taking place Sept. 13-15 at a farm site near Woodward (Centre County)! Eric will give us details about the festival, and we’ll play music from several of the 35-plus bands and performers taking part in the event!
SEPTEMBER 15 – Lone Crow Rebellion: Western PA blues rockers Lone Crow Rebellion join us to discuss their latest happenings; including the release of their new album, “Coal Train Blues,” as well as opening for some national acts in recent months!
SEPTEMBER 22 – Visiting the Mailboxes: We’ll resume our exploration of more new recordings that have arrived in the program’s mailboxes in recent days and weeks!
SEPTEMBER 29 – “Instruments Do the Talking” Special: This week, we give the singers the day off with the return of the “Instruments Do the Talking” Special, when we feature two hours of instrumental numbers from the area music scene! Hear instrumentals from such names as Felix & the Hurricanes, Ted McCloskey, Dylan Miller, Sterling Koch, Yam Yam, Memory Collector, Teen Town, Andy Mowatt’s Frequency Movement and more!
