Altoona Police arrested the same man twice within 8 days at the same Sheetz store, first for urinating on the sidewalk, the second for theft and trying to start a fight. Arrested was 43-year old Joshua Eckman who was arrested on Sunday evening at Sheetz on Chestnut Avenue. When police arrived, he began to fight with them, along with resisting arrest. Reportedly, it took several officers to get him into the patrol car. On September 1st police were called to the same Sheetz, after Eckman was caught urinating on the sidewalk. Eckman was charged with aggravated assault, assaulting an officer and numerous other counts. He is in the Blair County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail. Eckman, who has had several run-ins with local police in the past, is reportedly from Utica, New York.
