A Tyrone woman has been arrested after she allegedly committed a robbery of the owners of a produce shop. 61-year-old Deborah Miller has been charged with numerous counts including robbery, criminal trespass and terroristic threats. The armed robbery occurred last Thursday when the owner of the shop called police saying a woman walked into their home behind their produce shop, with a gun, and demanded money. The caller’s wife retrieved $1,400 and gave it to the woman, who was later identified as Miller. During an investigation it was learned Miller worked at SCI Smithfield in Huntingdon. It was there where state police interviewed her. Police said Miller claimed the shop owners don’t use a bank so she knew there would be cash in the house. Miller has been placed in the Blair County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail.
