The death of an Altoona woman in a house fire in March has been ruled accidental. Yesterday, Blair County Coroner Ray Benton said the death of 45-year-old Marcy Laird, who was unable to escape the house fire, was as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning. The manner of death was ruled accidental. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
