A 37-year old Bedford County man has been arrested after being accused of strangling a woman outside the home of his grandparents. Arrested last Friday was David Cooper of Saxton, who has been charged with strangulation, terroristic threats and numerous other related counts. Police were called to a home in Liberty Township regarding a fight between Cooper and a woman. A nearby surveillance camera reportedly caught Cooper punching the woman in the face multiple times, and then put his hands around her throat, to the point where she struggled to breathe. Cooper has been placed in the Bedford County Prison, with bail set at $200,000.
