During last night’s Altoona Area School Board meeting, members praised local response to an alleged shooting threat made against the school district last Friday. The threat, posted on social media, resulted in a two hour school delay. Fortunately no active threat was found. The school district’s safety and security director Bill Pfeffer, along with the Altoona Police Department were praised last night, for their quick response to both the threat and its investigation.
