Some students at Indiana University of Pennsylvania say they are concerned about safety surrounding the Trump campaign rally that’s planned on the campus next week. WPXI-TV shared comments from several people enrolled at IUP who say they plan to avoid the event due to the two assassination attempts against the former president. The rally is being held this coming Monday evening at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex. The Indiana District Attorney’s Office says they have been in contact with local, state, and federal law enforcement to discuss security for the gathering. University leaders are not sharing any information on their safety precautions, saying the rally is not an IUP-sponsored event. Doors open at 3. The rally beings at 7 p.m.
