A former band booster club treasurer in Indiana County has been accused of stealing more than $50,000 from a local school’s booster club. According to the Indiana County D.A.’s office, 56 year old Lara Brown pled guilty to numerous felony charges, including theft by unlawful taking, and theft by failure to make required deposits. Authorities say Brown stole from the United Band Boosters Club in Armagh. Brown is scheduled to be sentenced December 27th.
