A 40-year-old Huntingdon man has been accused of stealing nearly 67 thousand dollars from his grandmother. According to a criminal complaint Richard Gries reportedly stole the money from his grandmother’s bank account after she offered up her banking information to help pay the bills in her home, where he was living. Local police were alerted to fraudulent charges when the woman’s caretaker noticed Paypal charges on her bank statement. Gries has been charged with financial exploitation and theft. His bail was set at 10 precedent of $30,000, which he reportedly posted bond for.
