The unemployment rate across Pennsylvania in August remained the same as the month prior. The Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry says that the state’s unemployment rate in August remained at three-point-four-percent, which is the exact same rate it has been for eleven months. That rate is well below the national average, which was at four-point-two-percent in August.
