Company Moves Jets to PA Out Of Harm’s Way of Hurricane’s Path

jets-saved

Hurricane Helene made landfall last night near the eastern edge of the Florida panhandle.  Before the storm came ashore, a Georgia company was quick to move more than a dozen pricey jets from the Peach State to Arnold Palmer Regional Airport in Westmoreland County, Pa.  Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. produces aircrafts in Savannah and flew 15 of their jets out of harm’s way to the safety of Arnold Palmer.  Folks driving along Route 981 may be able to see some of the aircrafts as the airport does not have enough hangar space to accommodate them all.
