The Freedom Township Water and Sewer Authority has announced that all follow-up water samples have been tested, and the system has remained free of contamination. Residents are no longer required to boil their water. Last week, out of an abundance of caution people living in Freedom Township had been asked to boil water while work was being done in the relocation of a water main along Dry Run Bridge and Dunnings Highways, near New Pig Corporation.
