The topic of illegal immigrants in Somerset County was addressed yesterday by county officials. Reportedly, there have been numerous questions asked by county residents about the possible presence of illegal immigrants in the county. Somerset County D.A. Molly Metzgar released a statement regarding the matter, after seeing several posts about illegal immigrant encampments, on social media. After both state and local police checked into the matter, county officials said there was no merit to those claims.
