Initial filings for unemployment are on the rise in Pennsylvania. That’s according to the U.S. Department of Labor, which says that for the week ending September 28th, more than 85-hundred Pennsylvanian’s filed initial filings for unemployment. That number is up by nearly 500 from the week prior. Nationally, unemployment claims were up by six-thousand claims from the week prior.
