Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro has endorsed Democratic candidates for state Auditor General and Attorney General, however he is not endorsing the Democratic Party’s candidate for state Treasurer, Erin McClelland, in her race against Republican Stacy Garrity. Reportedly, his decision is described as a possible payback, after McClelland urged Vice President Kamala Harris not to pick Shapiro as her running mate. McClelland, along with some other state lawmakers, alleged Shapiro swept allegations of sexual harassment by staffer Mike Vereb, under the rug.
