About 50 people marched through the streets of downtown State College yesterday protesting Israeli military actions taking place in Gaza. The protest was organized by the People’s Defense Front, and marked the one year anniversary of the Hamas attack in Israel that killed 1,200 people. The protest lasted about 90 minutes and included verbal clashes with counter protestors. Numerous streets were blocked during the protest. There were no reports of violence.
