A Breezewood man is facing hundreds of charges of child pornography following a two year investigation. Arrested was 37-year-old Curtis Rupp who reportedly claimed he had downloaded child porn in an attempt to assist law enforcement with apprehending those who originally uploaded the images. Authorities began an investigation after they were contacted by Google, that images of suspected child sexual abuse had been uploaded to an account registered in Rupp’s name. Investigators say a search of Rupp’s devices lead to them finding over 500 images, and and or videos, depicting suspected sexual abuse of children. Rupp is facing nearly 600 counts of felony child pornography and misdemeanor design/copy of obscene material, depicting minors. He was arraigned yesterday, and released on unsecured bail.
