Pennsylvania wildlife officials are investigating the shooting of an adult osprey that was found near Lake Raystown, in Huntingdon County. The bird was found near the Raystown Lake Army Corp Property on October 12th. Wildlife officials say a hunter found the injured bird and contacted the Pennsylvania State Game Commission. Ospreys are protected under state and federal laws. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Pennsylvania Commission’s Southcentral Region at 1-833-PGC-HUNT.
