An Altoona woman has been arrested after she allegedly threatened neighbors with a knife Saturday morning. Charged was 52-year-old Jill Maxwell who reportedly came out of her residence at an Altoona duplex, pointing a kitchen knife at several of her neighbors. When police arrived, they instructed her multiple times to drop the knife, which she eventually did, however there are reports she repeatedly resisted arrest while officers detained her. The incident occurred when an argument broke out between Maxwell and her neighbors after she allegedly told them that a television actor was coming to meet her. Maxwell has been charged with numerous felonies for aggravated assault. She is in the Blair County Prison. Bail has been set at $25,000.
