The Central Pennsylvania Humane Society has received new funding to help in the construction of their new facility. According to a press release form Rep. Jim Gregory, the society has secured a $700,000 grant to help start the project. The new shelter is being built in Antis Township. The shelter will reportedly include 54 dog kennels, and 32 cat kennels. The grant is funded by the Commonwealth Financing Authority, through slot machine gaming revenue.
