Last night, members of the community, students, friends and family, came together to remember 17-year-old Lundyn Treese who died on Sunday in an early morning car crash on the 10th Avenue Expressway in Altoona. She had been been riding with 19-year-old Jared Detwiler of Altoona, who is now facing numerous charges, including homicide while DUI. Treese had been a soccer player with Altoona High, and last night she was remembered during the team’s first game since her passing. Those who attended the game placed flowers in front of a picture of Treese, and a moment of silence was held before the game. Last night, Lundyn was remembered as a very kind girl, who was always smiling.
