An 18-year-old Clearfield County man has been arrested after he was accused of assaulting a teenager outside a home in Clearfield Borough earlier in the week. Arrested was Corbin Derbeque of Lawrence Township. Derbeque allegedly assaulted a 17-year-old girl after meeting up with her. Police say on the day of the alleged assault, Derbeque threatened to harm himself and had contacted the victim asking for a “kiss and a hug.” Police say Derbeque continued to “kiss and touch” the victim before allegedly removing her clothing and sexually assaulting her. The victim reportedly told authorities what she had engaged in sexual activity with Derbeque before, but those prior encounters were consensual. Derbeque has been charged with felony sexual assault, and other related counts. He is in the Clearfield County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
