Lack Of Rain Could Hurt Future Christmas Trees

Add this to the list of problems caused by Pennsylvania’s drought.  Christmas tree farmers say the lack of rain has shriveled many newly planted trees.  The lack of rain has left the ground too dry for the young trees.  Farmers say it won’t be a problem for this year’s sales, but they say Christmas in about five years could see a natural Christmas tree shortage.
