More racist texts have been sent, this time to children, Latinos and members of the LGBTQ community. According to a press release from the FBI, the messages read that the “individual has been selected to be a house slave at the nearest plantation. Be ready at 8 a.m. sharp on Monday.” Several weeks ago, hundreds of blacks across the country reported receiving the same text in the wake of the November 5th election. Many were college students. According to the FBI, the texts have since continued. Some of those receiving the latest texts were also told to join a reeducation camp or were selected for deportation. The FBI is continuing their investigation.
