A 27-year-old man was recently arrested after an SUV was stolen from the Sheetz parking lot near UPMC Altoona. Arrested was Dan Emmanuel Diomande, who reportedly has no fixed address. He was charged last Friday with criminal trespass, burglary and theft. The SUV was later found at a home on Crawford Avenue in the city, where Diomande allegedly drove it, walked into someone’s home, took cigarettes and left, then came back and knocked on the door. When told to leave, an occupant in the home took his picture and called authorities. Diomande is currently in the Blair County Prison. Bail has been set at $200,000.
