A 28-year-old Bedford County man is behind bars after he was caught on camera brutally killing an 8-week-old puppy with a hammer, after it urinated in a cage. State police say Kenneth Collins killed the Lab mix, while it was trapped inside its cage. Collins was arraigned on Wednesday and charged with aggravated cruelty to animals causing death, and torture cruelty to animals. He has been placed in the Bedford County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
