A 17-year-old Johnstown man is facing criminal homicide charges after he shot and killed a 17-year-old student who attended the Greater Johnstown Hgh School. Arrested was Kaden Woodring, who reportedly shot the female at a Johnstown home along Sheridan Street late Sunday evening. When police arrived they found the victim in the basement of the home with a gunshot wound to her upper chest and right arm. Woodring alleges he pointed a rifle at the girl and asked, “you know I’m playin?,” before he pulled the trigger. The victim has not yet been identified, however she was pronounced dead at the scene and an autopsy is scheduled for today. Woodring is currently in the Cambria County Prison, and bail has been denied.
