The search continues for a Unity Township woman who may have fallen into a Western Pennsylvania sinkhole while looking for a cat on Monday evening. Emergency responders began searching for 64-year-old Elizabeth Pollard early Tuesday morning after finding her five-year-old granddaughter in her vehicle outside a restaurant, just east of Pittsburgh. Rescue workers have confirmed that a shoe was found about 25 feet down in the hole yesterday. Officials say the hole is connected to an old abandoned coal mine. State Police Trooper Steve Limani says rescuers were able to get down into the mine yesterday evening but so far, they have not found Pollard.
