A judge in Clearfield County has accepted a plea deal from one of three people charged with the alleged shooting of an English Mastiff last year. Ricky Dasher appeared in court yesterday where he was sentenced to two years’ probation and ordered to pay a $500 fine, after he accepted two counts of animal neglect. Dasher was charged earlier in the year, along with his daughter, and a juvenile, for shooting the dog named Duke. The dog was found neglected, malnourished and abused, last December in Greenwood Township, Clearfield County. The dog was also found with a shoestring tied around its month. Dasher’s daughter has a hearing slated for later this month.
