The mother of Luigi Mangione reportedly talked to the feds just hours before her son was taken into custody. Mangione, who’s the suspect in the killing of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, was arrested last Monday at McDonalds on Plank Road in Altoona. New reports say Kathleen Mangione was questioned by authorities late last Sunday, telling the FBI the suspect bore somewhat of a resemblance to her son. She had reported Mangione missing a month prior in California, and it was San Francisco police who tipped off the feds that the missing Mangione and the suspected shooter could be the same person. Mangione is still in custody at SCI Huntingdon, awaiting extradition back to New York.
