Some online sellers are removing listings for items featuring the man accused of gunning down UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in midtown Manhattan the week before last. Merchandise emblazoned with the photo of 26-year-old Luigi Mangione — including t-shirts, mugs and even Christmas ornaments — have been popping up in a number of online stores. GoFundMe says it has removed campaigns to raise money for Mangione’s legal fees because they violate rules against fundraisers linked to violent crimes. Mangione remains jailed at SCI Huntingdon following his arrest at McDonald’s in Altoona. He is fighting extradition to New York, where he faces a murder charge.
