Shapiro Administration Announces $55M In Rail Investments, Central Pa to Benefit

The Shapiro Administration is announcing a 55-million-dollar investment into railroads across Pennsylvania.  Penn-DOT says the projects are meant to improve rail infrastructure, and enhance freight mobility, while also creating and sustaining more than 300 jobs.  Among the 30 projects, five are located in Blair, Centre, Cambria, Clearfield and Elk Counties.  The money will be used to rehabilitate bridges and tracks in the designated areas.
