Strong storms could cause travel disruptions this holiday week. The West Coast could see heavy rain while the central and eastern part of the country will likely see extremely cold temperatures. The storm could also bring a white Christmas from North Dakota east into Michigan and the Northeast. Freeze and frost advisories are in affect across parts of Pennsylvania, New York, and down to parts of Georgia and Florida. The weather is the result of a Canadian storm front called an Alberta Clipper. Here at home, the National Weather Service is calling for cloudy skies with highs in the upper 30s.
