Luigi Mangione is pleading not guilty to state charges in New York, related to the shooting death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. It comes after the 26-year-old Ivy League grad appeared in federal court last Thursday to face charges of murder, stalking and a firearms offense in the killing of Thompson. The Manhattan DA’s office says they have been coordinating with the feds with their separate indictment with enhanced charges. Mangione, who was eventually apprehended in Altoona, is accused of fatally shooting Thompson in front of a Manhattan hotel on December 4th.
