A Clearfield County woman has been charged in the overdose death of her father that occurred nearly two years ago. Twenty-nine-year-old Sami Jo McGarry of Curwensville is facing numerous charges for allegedly supply deadly drugs to her father. McGarry has been charged with drug delivery resulting in death, and involuntary manslaughter after the 2023 death of her father Samuel McGarry. His autopsy showed he reportedly died from multiple drugs including fentanyl. State police have also noted that the estranged wife of Samuel McGarry, Joanne Greendoner, also died of a drug overdose this past April, and both Sami McGarry and her boyfriend were with her at that time. McGarry was arraigned yesterday, and placed in the Clearfield County Prison. Bail has been set at $150,000.
