Huntingdon County property owners will see a tax increase. The 2025 proposed budget has been approved by county commissioners and includes a 1-mill real estate tax increase. The increase is as a result of a .42-mill tax levy to pay the debt of borrowing for renovations on the county courthouse. The total budget for this year is slightly more than 28 million.
