A Philadelphia man has been charged in the death of 54-year-old Barry Senior Jr, of Adams Township, whose body was found burned along Haws Pike near the Westmoreland County line in November. Arrested was 25-year-old Dashane White-Ferguson. The body of Senior was located over a guardrail and had been intentionally set on fire. An autopsy later determined he had been stabbed and strangled before being set on fire. Senior’s car was later located along the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Lancaster County with Ferguson walking away from it. During a search, police discovered the victim’s credit card and noted a large amount of blood near the trunk of the car. Ferguson is currently in the Lancaster County Prison, and was arraigned on Friday on charges including criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse and other related counts.
