According to the latest federal and state reports, COVID-19, the flu, and RSV, were at elevated levels and trending upward. It is not uncommon for these viruses to see an uptick at this time, due to holiday gatherings and travel. In the meantime, the CDC’s latest prediction indicate a late winter wave of COVID-19. According to the Hospital Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania, you can limit the spread of respiratory viruses by staying home when you are sick, getting vaccinated, and practicing proper hand hygiene.
