Authorities have identified a man who was reportedly killed last week in a mining accident in Friedens, Somerset County. Somerset County Coroner Cullen Swank has identified the deceased as 34-year-old Josh Mock of Windber. The coroner says Mock died of multiple blunt impacts, and crushing injuries. The accident occurred Friday afternoon at the Corsa Coal Corporation mine site in Jenner Township. Reportedly, Mock suffered fatal injuries while operating a piece of underground mine equipment. An investigation is being conducted by the Pennsylvania State Police.
