PA Residents Among Those Charged In January Sixth Attack On U.S. Capital, May Be Pardoned

One of President-elect Donald Trump’s promises he made during his campaign — and whether he makes good on it — will be closely watched by more than a dozen western Pennsylvanians.  Trump says he plans to pardon the January 6th rioters, whom he has called patriots.  He says he’ll take action shortly after his inauguration today.  There are 16 defendants from western Pennsylvania among the hundreds charged in connection with the Capital attacks.  Almost 900 defendants have been convicted or have pleaded guilty.
