The Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania has announced they will be shutting down their operations in Central Pennsylvania. Reportedly, the Clearfield County campus will come to a close at the end of the 2026-27 academic year. The university says the decision was made to meet evolving educational demands, along with accreditation expectations. In a prepared statement the university said faculty and staff will be offered the chance to work at their Lock Haven campus.
