A trial for a former Bellwood-Antis coach, accused of covering up sex crimes of a former wrestling coach, has been delayed. Former Bellwood-Antis wrestling coach Timothy Andrekovich was to face a trial beginning yesterday, but the Attorney General’s Office says the trial has been continued. The Attorney General’s Office did not say why the delay, only that a new date will be scheduled. Andrekovich, along with former athletic director Charles Burch, are accused of trying to hide the child abuse of Ryan Blazier who was a former junior-high wrestling coach. In 2023, Blazier was convicted of sexual assault and sentenced to decades in prison.
