Democratic Senator John Fetterman says President Trump was “kind” and “cordial” during a meeting at Mar-a-Lago in Florida. The Pennsylvania lawmaker said on “The View” that their hour-long conversation was overall a positive experience. Trump told the Washington Examiner that Fetterman is a commonsense person. Fetterman’s open-minded response to Trump and Republicans on Capitol Hill has garnered speculation about his approach from fellow Democrats. But Fetterman has said that he’s not considering flipping parties.
