An Altoona man has been arrested after he allegedly assaulted a woman inside her home last August. Altoona Police have arrested 43-year-old Thomas Laird III, after he allegedly assaulted the woman on August 1st of last year. Laird has been charged with a felony of aggravated indecent assault and other related counts. He has been placed in the Blair County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
