Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro is calling for more spending in the upcoming fiscal year. Shapiro unveiled his budget proposal at the Capitol yesterday, asking for a more than three-billion-dollar increase to 51-point-five-billion-dollars. The governor’s plan would put more money in public education and mass transit. Shapiro proposed several ideas on how to increase revenue in the commonwealth, including the legalization of recreational marijuana.
