We head to State College for our latest “Local Song of the Week” to give you two songs merged back-to-back from rising Happy Valley rock force Mellow Honey! Starting out playing house shows in and around State College, Mellow Honey built a following and eventually won a battle-of-the-bands event to perform during Penn State’s annual spring “Movin’ On” concert festival event! Presented by Penn State’s Audio Engineering Society, this video captures Mellow Honey performing live at Penn State Studio A as they do the songs “Bones” and “Dust,” which appear back-to-back on the group’s second full-length album, “Fragile Animal.” Mellow Honey generates an exciting live show as they blend alternative, indie-rock, touches of grunge and psychedelia into a high-powered performance!
