The Lightening Bug Gift Shop in Hollidaysburg has donated $600 to support the upkeep of the Chimney Rocks Star. The donation was presented to the Borough of Hollidaysburg yesterday. The 30-foot-star, mounted on the hillside of Chimney Rocks Park, has been a mainstay of Hollidaysburg’s winter holiday landscape for nearly 60 years. Donations are welcome to help defray the cost of bulbs, electrical service, along with routine maintenance and repairs.
