JoAnn Fabrics has announced the closure of 500 stores across the country, including 30 in Pennsylvania. Among the 30 closing in the Commonwealth are stores in Altoona, State College, DuBois, and Johnstown. The company says the closures are necessary as it goes through the bankruptcy process. The company blames the bankruptcy filing on what they call severe and unexpected inventory issues.
