Pennsylvania is among the states affected by a recall of some brands of canned tuna. California-based Tri-Union Seafoods announced the recall for tuna cans with an “easy open” pull tab that have either a Trader Joe’s label or a Van Camp’s label. Van Camp’s is sold at Walmart and at independent retailers. The company said some of the cans have a “manufacturer’s defect” and could be contaminated with botulism.
